Tobe quite frank the Assassin's Creed ports have never been super great. The older AC games were almost straight basic ports. AC3, Black Flag and Rogue were decent after patches. Unity was an awesome game but optimized quite poorly at launch. AC Syndicate was fairly decent but QUITE demanding.
